Kora.Blr is a specialty coffee café brand from The Bangalore Coffee Company, with cafés in Koramangala, Basavanagudi and Jayanagar, and HSR Layout opening soon. Kora comes from the Esperanto word kora, meaning “heartfelt”: good coffee, honest food and a team our guests mention by name.

About the role

As a Server you look after our guests at the table: you take orders, serve food and coffee, and keep the café spotless and welcoming. Freshers are welcome: we'll train you.

What you'll do

• Greet guests, offer water and menus, and explain the menu and specials
• Take orders accurately and enter them on the POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly, to Kora presentation standards
• Check back on tables, refill water, and clear and reset tables between guests
• Set up your section before service and complete closing duties after
• Pass guest feedback and requests to the Captain or Shift Lead
• Keep the floor, side stations and cutlery clean and stocked, following FSSAI hygiene standards
• Help during events such as jamming sessions and open mics

What you bring

• Fresher to 2 years in restaurant or café service. Freshers are welcome
• Friendly, polite and well groomed
• Basic spoken English
• Comfortable on your feet through long shifts, including evenings and weekends

Nice to have

• Kannada or Hindi
• A hotel management or hospitality course
