About the role

As a Senior Cafeista you run the coffee bar on your shift, own the quality of every drink and train our junior cafeistas.

What you'll do

• Dial in espresso every day, adjusting grind, dose and yield to keep every cup consistent
• Prepare the full menu, including manual brews (V60, Paragon), matcha specials, clouds, cold brew tonics and signature coffees
• Pour consistent latte art and keep presentation to the Kora standard
• Lead the bar during service: assign stations, manage order flow and keep ticket times down
• Train and coach junior cafeistas on recipes, technique, hygiene and guest service
• Manage bar stock (coffee, milk, syrups and consumables), raise requisitions and track wastage
• Maintain the espresso machine and grinders, and flag repairs early
• Keep the bar to FSSAI hygiene standards, including FIFO, labelling and temperature logs
• Help develop seasonal specials and represent the bar at events and pop-ups

What you bring

• 2–3 years as a barista, ideally in a specialty café
• Strong espresso extraction, milk texturing and latte art skills
• Working knowledge of manual brew methods
• Confidence leading a small team during busy service
• Clear communication in English
• Comfortable working rotational shifts, including weekends

Nice to have

• SCA or an equivalent barista certification
• Kannada or Hindi
