About Kora.Blr
Kora.Blr is a specialty coffee café brand from The Bangalore Coffee Company, with cafés in Koramangala, Basavanagudi and Jayanagar, and HSR Layout opening soon. Kora comes from the Esperanto word kora, meaning “heartfelt”: good coffee, honest food and a team our guests mention by name.
About the role
As Kitchen Steward you keep our kitchen running: clean dishes, pots and equipment, a spotless kitchen and safe waste handling. No experience needed: we'll train you.
What you'll do
- Wash and sanitise dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen tools, by machine and by hand
- Put clean equipment back in its place so the kitchen and bar always have what they need
- Clean kitchen floors, walls, drains, shelves and work areas through the day and at closing
- Segregate and dispose of waste correctly: wet, dry and recyclable
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and at the right dilution
- Help unload deliveries and keep the stores tidy
- Help with basic prep, such as washing vegetables, when the kitchen needs it
- Follow FSSAI hygiene and safety rules at all times
What you bring
- No experience needed
- Hardworking, punctual and reliable
- Able to follow instructions in English, Kannada or Hindi
- Comfortable standing through long shifts and working evenings and weekends
