About the role

As Café Manager (our Outlet In-charge) you run one Kora café end to end: guests, team, coffee, kitchen coordination, events and numbers.

What you'll do

• Own the daily running of the outlet from the 8 AM opening to the midnight close, including shift handovers
• Plan rosters for the bar, floor and kitchen-support teams, and manage attendance and leave
• Set the standard for Kora hospitality: greet regulars, handle feedback and resolve complaints on the spot
• Work with the kitchen team to keep food and drink orders flowing smoothly during service
• Manage inventory, ordering and vendor deliveries, and control wastage and food cost
• Handle cash, POS reconciliation, daily sales reports and petty cash
• Ensure FSSAI compliance, hygiene audits, equipment maintenance and safety checks
• Host weekly events such as jamming sessions and open mics, manage table reservations, and look after seating across the café, including the private cabins and co-working areas
• Hire, onboard and train new team members, and run monthly performance check-ins
• Report outlet performance to the Operations Manager and act on targets

What you bring

• 3–5 years in café or restaurant operations, including 1–2 years leading a team
• Strong guest-service instincts and calm judgement during rush hours
• Working knowledge of coffee
• Comfortable with POS systems, inventory sheets and basic sales reporting
• Fluent English and Kannada
• FSSAI food safety training (FoSTaC), or willingness to complete it
• Available for rotational shifts, including weekends and late closes
